No experience is necessary. Our certified trainers guide every client safely, teaching proper form and progressive strength techniques that fit your goals and starting point.
What do you specialize in?

Where is Uplift Fitness located?
We are located at 118 Broadway East in Seattle, WA, conveniently serving clients from neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, Madrona, Queen Anne, Beacon Hill, and surrounding areas.
How is Uplift Fitness different from other gyms?
Unlike large gyms, we are a small studio focused on personalized coaching, small group training (up to 3 people), and expert guidance. Our strength training programs prioritize long-term results and confidence, not just general workouts or gym access.
What should I expect in my first session?
During your first session, our trainers will assess your current strength, mobility, exercise history, injuries and goals. After that, you’ll receive a personalized training plan and hands-on coaching to ensure proper technique and safe progression.
Can I train in small groups instead of one-on-one sessions?
Yes! Our small group personal training options offer expert guidance in a supportive environment, giving you the benefits of personalized coaching while training with others. Click the “small group” option when filling out the training inquiry form here.
How do I schedule a personal training session?
Scheduling is easy! Once you fill out the training inquiry form we will get back to you as quickly as possible via email. We will get you set up with the time that works best for you and you’ll be ready to rock!
Do you offer programs for beginners or people new to lifting?
Absolutely! All our programs are designed to meet you where you are at, whether a beginner or someone who has been lifting for a while. Your program is all about you!
What results can I expect from training at Uplift Fitness?
Clients typically experience increased strength, improved movement, better posture, and greater confidence. With consistent training, our programs help you reach long-term strength goals while maintaining proper form and reducing the risk of injury.
I have injuries (ex: back pain), can you train me?
We can! Probably! Studies show that movement instead of inactivity can help to relieve and prevent injuries from happening again. While we are not doctors, we can work with you to figure out where you are at now with your movement and work up from there.
Do you help with weight loss?
We consider ourselves to be body-neutral personal trainers. That means that we do not focus on weight loss as our main objective. While we can give guidance on weight loss, we prioritize helping you focus on getting stronger, moving better, and creating healthy habits instead.
Are your Seattle personal trainers certified by an accredited organization?
They are! Each of our trainers has multiple accredited personal training certs from places like NASM, CSCS, ISSA, ACE and more.
Can I come in and workout on my own?
We are only a personal training studio and do not have open gym hours. However, we have a partnership with Cap Hill Fitness up the road for if you want a gym for your other workout days.
Do your workouts use progressive overload?
They sure do! We program for 4-6 weeks which means you’re doing the same workouts working on getting better at each of those movements. This means you get stronger since we have notable ways of looking at your progress by tracking reps, sets, and weights used. You also get better at the movements so you’ll feel more comfortable in them and with increasing weight.
